Happy and Healthy is designed for 6 to 7 year olds. Alice and Charlie discover that they have an interior world that they can control – their emotions, their memory and their imagination. They can deliberate over options and make choices.
This is the awareness of freedom. With this discovery, they also know that they have a conscience that tells them when they have chosen selfishly or righteously, to do harm and trick others or to do good and be truthful. Our protagonists learn to listen to their “inner voice” and also to cultivate a proper conscience with the guidance of their parents and teachers abiding by, in a special way, the golden rule of doing unto others what you would have them do to you.
